Is there a way to get to your dashboard from looking at your blog with one click?  I always have to press New Post in the upper right corner, then the Dashboard button shows up and I press that.  It's a little annoying!  :0)  Thanks for any tips!

Painting

I am going to do the second coat on the laundry room today! I painted it a sage green and I think it looks nice though it'll take some getting use to. After that I'll do the guest bathroom which is going to be the same color, but I am going to put some white accents and bronze finished hardware. I'm so glad we are getting some things done, I wanted to get some painting in before my belly starts getting in the way and before I start the nursery, because after that Im sure I'll be painted out! After all this is done all that will be left to paint is the office and master bed/bath. That is so nice! Im soo tired of all the white and it is slowly going away!
We also are making some progress out front too. The retaining wall is almost done so we are almost ready to order the 7 TONS of top soil and after that seed the grass!! The concrete guys are coming tomorrow to pour the patio too so that will be soo nice. After it cures we are going to stain it ourselves. Doing this all ourselves is saving a TON of money, thank goodness!

Yay!

Finally told family and friends! That was a long 13 weeks!

Today

Today is my original due date. :0( Very bittersweet.

NT Scan

My NT scan was this morning, the testing itself went really well. We got to see the baby wiggling around the screen! The photos we got though weren't very good though. :0( The baby looked like it has a mashed potato head in the pictures, LOL. We also think it is a boy!! We saw "possible boy parts" on the ultrasound, though girl parts are this point are really swollen so they could be seen as 'boy', so Im not decorating just yet. ;0) The "big" ultrasound is scheduled for April 26th, next month! Wow!
The not so good part of the appointment is Ethan was a complete terror 80% of the time. I had "that kid" and no one like listening to "that kid." He was whiny and fussy and throwing fits and throwing food and his sippy and just being a total pain. That is so unlike him it was crazy. Then I got called back 25 minutes late and that just made everything worse. Then when I was having the ultrasound he kept pointing and saying "baby" then immediately after calling it a doggie. Oh well, he'll get it soon enough! :0)

Told my mom yesterday

We told my mom yesterday! We figured we werent going to see them anytime soon, so I took a picture of Ethan in his Big Brother T-shirt and sent it to her and then called to tell her I sent some pictures. She looked at them read the shirt out loud, then said, Ohh! I love his shoes! Look at him running with his sippy, he is soo cute!!

Me: Mom, did you read his shirt?
Mom: Yeah, big brother Ethan.
:::Silence:::
Mom: Where were you guys walking?
Me: Mooom, do you get it??
Mom: get what? :0|
:::More silence::: (my heart is pounding the whole time)
Me: ...his shirt...
Mom: uh, REALLY?!?!?!!!!
Me: :::face palm::: YES!
Mom: I would have never gotten it! How far along are you?
Me: 12 weeks
Mom: WHAT?!?!?!!?? And you didn't tell me?!

Haha, poor mom!

Getting ready for summer!

Yesterday I bought Ethan a little pool for the front yard after we finish landscaping it, a cloth swim diaper, swim shoes so he won't slip or have to walk on hot concrete, little 50+ sun protection shorts and a swim shirt (he's toooooo white to go topless!) and a sun hat!! Cant wait! Summer hurry up!

My wonderful husband bought me a doppler and it came in yesterday and we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time outside of an ultrasound. It is the most amazing sound ever!! The first time I tried it I couldn't find anything, which worried me a little because the intensity of my symptoms has gone away since I was sick and had the fevers. That worry is what prompted Jason to buy the doppler in the first place, he wanted some kind of way to check on the baby. Anyway, then Jason asked if he could try and he found the heartbeat! It was so relaxing, like a huge brick lifted off my chest. Our baby has a heartbeat, what more could you ask for??

I don't share Ethan enough on here! :0) He is the light of my life, but when I point the camera at him and he notices he goes rather blank, lol, you'll notice I'm sure! I wish I could get his true crazy on video, but no such luck yet! Enjoy anyway! Ohhh and excuse my house, this is what it looks like at the end of the day with the crazy toy tornado that is Ethan.

First up, here's my little champ doing his breathing treatment, after only a day and a half he got used to it and doesn't really mind anymore! YAY!! No more screaming bloody murder, it is wonderful. He normally is playing a ton more, buuuut since the camera is on he's a little shy.



Here is one of the calmest bathes he's ever taken, he was so tranquil looking and just, well, calm that I had to record him.



And lastly, Ethan "riding" his lion. He just stands over it and runs, LOL. This was right before bedtime so he's dressed in his footie and has his binky. (normally only has it at bedtime, but we give it to him for his treatment which was right before this)

Wonderful!

I had my 10 week appointment last week, my Dr is positive I had H1N1 a few weeks ago! Craziness! I absolutely felt AWFUL, so that explains a little. She also couldn't find a heartbeat, before she even tried she said it was early and common not to hear it at this point, but I was hopeful. Well, we heard nothing, which stinks!

On the more exciting side we scheduled my NT scan! March 8th! Can't wait to see the little bean in there. I remember Ethan's NT scan, it was amazing, he was so formed already I just fell more in love with him that day. <3
