Well...
I just finished my 50mg round of Clomid. Hoping for ovulation, pregnancy would be awesome, but right now I'm just looking to O! If that happens, then watch out! Over-analysis here I come! :0)

Poop and Beans
MMmm!! Right??
No. We shall start from the beginning. I went and got Ethan up from his nap, took off his sleep sack and plopped him onto the changing pad to change his diaper. I could tell by the smell we had a twosie on our hands (Scrubs anyone??) Anyway, I undo his diaper and instead of a nice little easy to clean turdlet, there is a shit-ton (yes that was necessary) of super soft, play doughish poo. Ick. I hate these diapers, so I get a wipe, lift his tush annnd he reaches down with the speed of a jungle cat and grabs a hand full... oh shit... in every sense of the word.
I'm stunned. I don't know what to do, I have a crap covered wipe in one hand, his feet in the other hand, he has now squished his hands together so both hands are covered in his own feces. I have no place to put the poo wipe because it usually goes in the diaper, I cant finish with the diaper change because he'll eat his own crap if I don't get it off his hands, stat. Okkaayyy... I look around and see a metal play pail he has in his room, Sweet! I'll put poo wipes in there! In it goes, I then re-stick the diaper back on, poo and all and go for his hands. So. Much. Poo. I open one of his hands to clean it and beans fall out... OMG, Eww!!! He had some beans for dinner last night and apparently he didn't chew all of them, so gross. So the beans are falling out of the goop onto his chest, the floor and the changer. Then I realize I'm going to run out of wipes before he's remotely clean. So I decide to clean up the poo chunks and beans, throw them in the pail and to take Ethan to the sink to wash his hands.
****
Side story-
We bought a Boon Frog Toy Pod and I installed the sticky part this morning, and for 24 hours following that you cant even have moisture in the tub. So I couldn't put E in his bathtub with his toys and bath seat because this damn thing was still drying. The temp in there has to stay high as well for this thing to dry so I had a heater sprawled across the room and then the pod and basket from it are on the sink, just a disaster and soo in the way.
****
So I get Ethan in there, jump the heater, clear the sink a little and wash his hands while he tries to grab everything off the counter, take off his bib, shirt and socks and go back to his room to actually change his diaper. This time I occupy his hands by giving him is favorite thing to play with, his vitamin bottle. Off goes the diaper annd in goes the vitamin bottle! CRAP!!!! How the hell did that happen?!!?
So let assess. We now have crap on the hands, again. Crap on the vitamins. A still dirty diaper and a VERY happy kid. I was soo done at this point. He HAS to have a bath though he's never had one without his bath seat, (in the bathroom that I cant use the tub in) so I decide to put him in our tub and see how it goes. I half-assed cleaned his tush, took his naked butt to our bath room and start the water. I stand him next to the tub so he can bang on it and go get his soap and some toys. Come back and he's crawling around naked which of course is kind of cute! :0) I stand him back up next to the tub while I check the temp and get the toys in, then hear something. I don't even want to know at this point. I look down and he's peeing down the outside of the tub. (I know some of you may remember our bath room has freakin' carpet in it) Are you kidding??? Nope, because after he finishes he thinks it would be great to hold it a little point another direction and let it go again. Now there is pee everywhere. In the bath he goes, lathered from head to toe and rinsed. He loved it w/o the bath seat by the way! Way more stressful for me though as he wanted to stand up a lot. I get him out, dried, diapered and dressed. Then cleaned the shit pail. What a fun afternoon!

Man's Best Friend
Let look back for a moment shall we??? A moment from about a week ago...
Soo, it's been a week. And the doggie verdict? Tiki's ulcer is looking better but not gone, so we're still doing the $62 a bottle eye drop every four hours, this dog is going to kill me (bank and sanity!). We are to keep this up ohhh say about a month and go back and have another look. Zoey is now on hormone replacement therapy... omg, I never thought I'd say that about a dog, let alone pay for it. Please let this make her stop peeing on everything in her sleep. Jason is thisclose to taking her out... and I'm not talking outside. Whew, this is exhausting!
We have four dogs (I know we're insane) so normal years vaccinations coming up- $51 ea. $204 total. We took Tiki to the vet last night and she has planus as well as an ulcer in her eye and one forming in her other eye- $45 office visit, $62 eye drops
We also had Zoey checked because she's now peeing in her sleep and is incontinent, she's 2. They want to do a UA on her, so needle urine collection and a urine analysis for her to start. Just the testing, about $300. OMG help me, the total is around $700. That's not including any more meds for either of the little dogs (which they'll need), and assuming there with be NO more complications with Tiki's eye's and nothing more needed for Zoey (unlikely).and $26 corneal stain- Total last night- $145. She has to go back in a week for a follow up (another $45) and if the ulcer hasn't got significantly better or is not gone we're off the the canine eye Dr. ($$$$$$)
When it rains it POURS.

CD 2!
I waited till today to confirm that yesterday was CD 1, and I'm convinced! LOL Since my body has been doing weird, 'here comes you period... PSYCH!!' games with me I thought I'd make sure the flow stayed until the next day and here we are. Cycle two is over and came in at 47 days, not to bad for me honestly. My Dr gave me the script for Clomid since my cycles are still long and I didn't get any positive OPK's for the last 2 cycles, she wants me on it. Jason and I have some thinking to do, if I should take it, or if we should wait. This is much faster than last time. I know Clomid doesn't equal a baby, it just hopefully equals ovulation and the chance for a baby, so far we haven't even gotten the chance. That's all we can ask for. Though we better decide quick, CD 5 is coming up real soon!

Happy Anniversary to meee!!!
It's been two amazing years today!! I cannot believe how much has happened in such a short amount of time and how fast it has gone by! Jason is amazing, I can't imagine being married to a more amazing man! I'm soo in love!
This is getting old
BFN. I shouldn't feel like this considering I don't even know if I ovulated, it shouldn't be so disappointing but it is. Since today is CD 40 my Dr wants to see my on Clomid next cycle. I wasn't charting but I am/was using OPK's (O after CD 30 isn't quality even if it does happen that's why I stopped) and never detected a surge though I only tested once a day so I guess I could have missed it but chances are I didn't, it just didn't happen. So we've got some thinking to do. I just wish this cycle would end already and not go as long as 'normal.'

And the weirdness continues....
**Don't read on if you don't want to read way to much about my body and lady region...
That said, I'm going to C&P what I posted on the boards a few days ago and then update.
So I had a few more 'spots' that day (the 21st) and nothing since. I was soo hoping AF was coming because that would make my cycle so much shorter than my normal, almost a normal person's normal! LOL But no. So WTH. I'm so screwy! Several people said to POAS but I havent since the 19th, I just don't think that is it. I am however going to the 26th if AF doesn't show up because it's our wedding anniversary and I might like to have a drink at dinner, and it would just be cool! (Have you noticed I'm liking to pee on things on special days lately??) Anyway, pregnant or not, I would just like this cycle to resolve!

For the last couple days I've thought AF was about to start, but it hast happened yet. Okay here's what happening...I'm having what I'd say is some EWCM and creamy for the last 2 or 3 days, but about half the time the EWCM has like a dark brown clot type thing within it (about half a pea size). So weird. It's not mixed or streaked, it's separate of each other, just one within the other. Soo anyone know what I'm talking about?? LOL I would think it would be going on to long to be implantation spotting or O spotting or whatever, but it doesn't seem like true "spotting" to me either, it's just strange!

And BFN...
:0(
I don't even know if testing is complete waste because I don't know if I even ovulated, I'm using OPK's and haven't gotten a + but could have missed the surge I guess, I'm coming up on CD 40 though so I think my time is up for this cycle. I think I'm heading in the same direction as with Ethan, but this time my Dr said she'd intervene much faster so that's good I suppose. So we'll see!

1st Birthday, Mother's Day and more!!
Ethan's birthday did not go as planned, but everything ended up working out anyway!
The day before Jason was suppose to be off, well he got scheduled last minute (read the day before) to work that day which put me in a tizzy trying to do all the preparation alone, bake 100 cupcakes, make cakeballs without anyone to help watch Ethan.

So early in the morning I go at it, the cupcakes needed to cool before I could ice and decorate them, did I mention I had a baby shower that day too? Well yes, I did, with food I needed to bring/make that morning as well. Oye. So I'm pouring the first batch of cupcakes into the papers and Ethan is playing on the floor. I look up and he's gone... where the heck is he?? Then it happened, the mixer went flying off the counter top (he yanked on the cord) and fell right onto his forehead. Que waterworks... from both of us. I was so overwhelmed and then this. He was hurt, the day before his birthday because I was doing stuff for his birthday. He stopped crying after about a minute but I did not. He ended up with a bump and a bruise but was other wise fine. Scared the shite out of me. We went to the surprise shower where I forgot my food and had to come all the way back home to get which made me miss the big "surprise" which ticked me off, LOL.

So I finally get home and finish baking cupcakes, put Ethan down to bed and start everything else. I ice and decorate the cupcakes, which didn't work out the way I wanted but oh well. Then make and decorate the cakeballs. I stupidly only got some prep pictures but forgot to take finished pics, they were actually VERY pretty and everyone LOOVEEDD them!

I'm finishing things up and hear Ethan, he raaarely wakes up anymore so I go in there and he is COVERED in snot. Great. And that was our night, he woke about every 15-20 minutes because he couldn't breathe and needed his nose sucked out. He was sick and soo tired and it was his birthday. Total suckage. (That morning when he woke up he had a snot helmet from rubbing his head in it then letting it dry, his hair... what little he has was rock solid!)

The next day, his birthday, we're trying to get everything set up to go to the park- we were having a BBQ! It was to start at noon and I was down there setting up at noon, I know, I'm a slacker! In our defense though NO ONE was here to help and so someone had to stay with Ethan at the house while the other went to the park, it was a bit of a dance. We wanted to keep E at the house as long as possible because he didn't feel well. Well at noon no one was there, LOL. Everyone was half an hour to an hour late except my parents who were only a few minutes late. Then everyone bitched about the food not being ready. Whatever. Anyway Jason and I were wondering where his parents were when at 1 we get a call that they were just leaving their house... THREE hours away! Wow. Really?? How long did they think the party was going to last?! So yes, they missed it. Asshats. (there's a lot of history here I'm not going into now!) We decide to just do Ethan's cupcake and go home, he wasn't crying but he was super clingy which isn't like him, he just didn't feel good.

Not impressed, LOL.

He seemed to kind of like it but was so tired and had no energy to even play in it. Poor little man. Though he was getting a kick out of my mom trying to give him water out of the bottle!

Other than that he just hung out with me or daddy while we were there. He usually loooves to go with other people, but today wasn't the day for that!

We went home soon after, brought his gifts to the house and let him open them the next day. He was thrilled with all the paper!! (and some of the toys, ha!)

Here's a video of him with the toy mommy and daddy got him!
He loves it!! It's really helping him to walk too! He's much better at it than I can get on video, but you get the idea!
Mother's Day!!
Ethan seemed to feel a bit better though his nose was still running like crazy. We decided to go to the Symphony at the Zoo for a few hours.

The music was great, though it was SUPER crowded and hot!! I didn't expect there to be quite that many people! Here's my mom and step dad enjoying the tunes!

And Ethan digging for Puffs and Melts...

Here's Jason with Ethan asleep in his car seat after the Zoo, his hat was over his face, which we thought was funny, the kid was pooped!

We went with my parents and Jason's parent so it ended up being a great Mother's Day!
When we got home we did the other portion of Ethan's birthday gift from my parents. My step dad built a form to put concrete in and to put Ethan's hands and feet in. We are going to to it every year and put them as stepping stones through our garden. I think it will be really cool to see to progression from year to year!
Waiting for the concrete to firm up with mamo and grandpa!

Still waiting... with his pants on his head!

He was NOT impressed!! He didnt like it at all! I'm hoping next year it'll be much more fun for him!

Mom writing in his name and the date.

Now for Ethan's favorite part of the day!! Bath time!! I love my little helmet head! We stick as many letters to him as possible and he doesn't care, he doesnt even take them off! LOL!!

My baby is a toddler, how crazy is that?!?!

BFN
Even for a "normal" person I was testing early, I should have known better (and I did) but I tested anyway. Well now that it's out of my system I think I'll be waiting much longer! *sigh*

This day last year...
I was pregnant. I had a tiny baby inside of me kicking and rolling around. This time last year I was at my nieces birthday party in my second day of labor. I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast! He has such a little personality and is more than I could have ever imagined or hoped for. He's my life, he's absolutely perfect. Just perfect.

Nap Time
Ethan is a FABULOUS sleeper, always has been! He only got up once a night, around 3am when he came home from the hospital and around 6 weeks he started STTN. For months now he's been consistently sleeping 13+ hours a night! I'm such a lucky momma! Nap time on the other hand, for the first six months he didn't even know naps existed, he wasn't cranky, he just didn't nap. After six months he started napping in the late morning to early afternoon and that quickly turned into a 2.5-3 hour nap every day which is wonderful! This wonderful nap though was in the swing, sooo now I think he needs to take naps in the crib, he sleeps GREAT in his crib at night, it's not a new place to him... so why does he scream like I sat him on a nail when I put him in there for a nap?! Yesterday was the first day, he cried for about 45 minutes until I went in there, picked him up and sat down and about 30 seconds late he was out like a light. I then put him back in the crib and he slept three hours. I just put him down for his nap today and he only cried maybe seven minutes though Im afraid to go in there and see if he's actually sleeping, if he's awake and sees me he'll cry. I think we're getting better though! Lets hope nap time today is a success! Sounds like it so far, all I hear is silence!! :0)
UPDATE: I just went in there and this is what I found...

I'm guessing he sat up to cry, then just folded over and fell asleep! Poor little man! I moved him and he didn't appreciate it, but he fell back asleep immediately. To funny!
